I've been working in the marine trades for seven or eight years now, starting with custom carbon fiber and composite work, then moving into machining and fabrication. Most recently, I've been doing marine electrical design and troubleshooting systems for client, which showed me that there seems to be quite a deficit of quality marine tools and hardware.

That's what led to Dipper. Right now that means custom fabrication, machining, and marine contracting work, but it's also become a platform to develop specialty products that bridge the gap between off-the-shelf mediocrity and custom one-off pieces.
